Dick Reid was born and raised in Tucumcari, where he graduated from Tucumcari High School before attending college in Las Cruces. His journey as a business owner began with several service stations in New Mexico and Wyoming. Later, he opened a Boat and RV store in Wyoming, building his expertise in the boating industry. In 1994, Dick and Sharon returned to New Mexico, purchasing what is now known as Dinghy Dick’s Marine—a name proudly suggested by their daughter. Over the years, they’ve built a legacy of quality service, family values, and a love for watersports.
